3. Be Safe and Secure:

    Meet potential buyers at an off-site location to "Size them up". Never meet with them or show

    the property while alone. Have all buyer's meet with a lender first and if they claim to be a

    cash buyer, ask to see their bank statements that show they have the cash. There are some

    really bad people out there just looking for someone to let their guard down. Don't be so

    anxious to sell that you ignore your intuition and throw all common sense out the window.

 

4. Have all buyers pre-qualified by a reputable mortgage company.

    As a 20 plus year real estate professional I never show a house to a buyer who has not been
